Village of Empress Open House

Council moved to hold an open house for Empress and area residents on December 8, 2014 at the Empress Community Hall from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Council will be reviewing their 2014 Business Plan and the 10 year Municipal Infrastructure Capital Plan. They are looking for the communities input on priority areas to incorporate into the 2015 business plan and budgets. We encourage everyone to come out and have your say.

Please check out the draft traffic and dog bylaws presented at the last Council meeting. If you have questions or concerns please talk to any of your Council members or drop into the office to discuss with the CAO.

Council meeting is this Thursday. Being discussed are a Cemetery Committee and 2 new Bylaws, – one is a Dog Bylaw , the other is a Traffic Bylaw.

Village Council Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month at 7:30pm in the Village of Empress Office.

Agenda, Minutes, & Bylaws are posted on Bulletin Board in Village Office Building

1. Agenda – posted two days prior to Monthly Council Meeting date
2. Minutes – posted two business days after Monthly Council Meeting is held
3. Bylaws – posted for thirty days after third and final reading
4. 2011 Inspection Report – Copies available at Village of Empress Office

Budget, Audited Financial Reports, Agenda, Minutes, & Bylaws are all available for viewing upon request at the Village of Empress Office any time during regular business hours.
