Bill Payments
For information: Rates & Fees Property Taxes
Bills from the Village of Empress are mailed to you via Canada Post and there are a few ways to pay your bill.
Cash, Cheque, Debit, Credit Card, or Interac e-Transfer.
Inter-bank transfers are no longer supported.
In-person
Cash, Cheque, Debit, or Credit Card at the Empress Village Office Building, 6 3 Avenue West.
By Telephone
Credit Card Only: Phone the Empress Village Office at 403-565-3938.
By mail
Cheque only. Do not mail cash. Mail to: |

Write the account number in the memo section of the cheque:
- Your Utility Account Number if you are paying your water/sewer/garbage bill (upper right of your bill).
- Your Tax Roll Number if you are paying your property taxes (top left box on the tax notice).
- The Invoice Number if you are paying some other Village of Empress Bill.
Interac e-Transfer
To payments@villageofempress.ca:
- Using your web browser on your computer, go to your bank website. Or use the app on your phone or pad for your bank.
- Find the area to make an Interact e-Transfer.
- Enter payments@villageofempress.ca for the e-mail address of who it is going to.
- The security question & answer/password is not being used. It will be deposited to the Village automatically.
- In the message or memo section, enter one of the following:
- Your Utility Account Number if you are paying your water/sewer/garbage bill (upper right of your bill).
- Your Tax Roll Number if you are paying your property taxes (top left box on the tax notice).
- The Invoice Number if you are paying some other Village of Empress Bill.
