Assessor in the Village on May 23

The Village Assessor (Benchmark) will be in Empress on Tuesday May 23 conducting property inspections (for 2024) – please note that the assessor will be out and about the Village doing annual property inspections (in anticipation of 2024) so just take note as a property owner.
The visit and inspections will take place most of the regular workday May 23.

The showerhouse at Peter Fidler Park is now open for the season!

Splashpark now open!

The Empress splashpark is now open for the season.

Water Repairs

Water repairs are in progress and some parts of the Village may have water service temporarily unavailable. Your patience is appreciated while we make the necessary repairs. There are no water quality concerns related to this activity.

Property Tax notices

The Village politely remind residents that tax notices will be mailed (bar no unforeseen circumstances) end of day May 11.

The Village politely request that those residents who still have outstanding/current arrears tax amounts AND are planning to make payments, that you do so by May 2nd at noon so that this reflects on your 2023 tax notice.
