The Village of Empress

is situated on the West side of the Alberta/Saskatchewan border and serves as a center to the surrounding farming and ranching community of 1,500 people. It has been a focal point for many activities in the area. It is also at the geographical center of many large cities in Western Canada: Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Regina.

Assessor in the Village on May 23

The Village Assessor (Benchmark) will be in Empress on Tuesday May 23 conducting property inspections (for 2024) – please note that the assessor will be out and about the Village doing annual property inspections (in anticipation of 2024) so just take note as a property owner. The visit and inspections will take place most of the regular workday May 23. The Village thank you for your patience and cooperation. Administration
