The Village of Empress

is nestled between the Red Deer River and the South Saskatchewan River, at the eastern edge of Alberta. There is a wild feel to this quaint village surrounded by expansive farms and ranches, pronghorns, coyotes and so many different species of birds. Water leak

UPDATE

We have confirmed we have 2 leaks in town. Sections of the village have been isolated and water turned off. People in those areas have been notified in person. These are large leaks and the water in the tower has dropped below 64 percent so the pumps have reduced pressure to preserve water. So all people will be experiencing low water pressure at this time. The water tower should recover overnight, so most residents will see their pressure return to normal by morning. One leak has surfaced by Doris Mays, but we still need to locate the one on Center street. We have Oyen backhoe coming in the morning to start on the repairs. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we work at getting things repaired.
