The Village of Empress

is nestled between the Red Deer River and the South Saskatchewan River, at the eastern edge of Alberta. There is a wild feel to this quaint village surrounded by expansive farms and ranches, pronghorns, coyotes and so many different species of birds. Empress Friendship Centre

The building was constructed in 1982 and is owned and operated by the Empress Friendship Society. They are working in conjunction with other village organizations to meet the needs and support goals of the community and are developing a feeling of wellness and safety for our community. They hold monthly meals and events and also Special occasion meals. New members are welcome.
