Due to an ongoing water leak, the splash park’s opening will be delayed this year. We understand how much everyone looks forward to it, and we’re working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Additionally, there is an outdoor water ban in effect as a result of a water main leak within the village. We kindly ask all residents to refrain from using outdoor water (e.g., for watering lawns, washing vehicles, etc.) until the issue is resolved.

The public hearing for Bylaw 2025-01 has been extended and will take place on April 9, 2025, at the Village Office 6 3rd Ave West in Empress at 6:30 pm. Although the public part of the hearing has been closed, the council will still review the bylaw or consider any amendments during that time.
If you’re planning to attend, it might be good to note that this will be a closed session for public input. Let me know if you need any further information about the bylaw or the process!
