The Village of Empress

is nestled between the Red Deer River and the South Saskatchewan River, at the eastern edge of Alberta. 2024 Municipal By-election

A by-election for one (1) Council position be held on October 8, 2024.  Voting will take place between the hours of 10:00 am and 8:00 pm, in the Curling Rink Lounge, which is in the northwest corner of the Empress Bindloss Agridome, 311 2 Street West.

Nomination day is September 10, 2024.  Nominations will be accepted up until 12 Noon that day at the Empress Village Office Building, 6 3 Avenue West.
